| Anchuvilakku is located 22 kilometers from Kottayam. The renowned freedom fighter Veluthampi Dalawa made the stone lamppost here, a typical example of Kerala architecture. It is near the Changanacherry boat jetty. The Changanacherry market, one of the largest in Kerala, was also established by him. The five lamps on this post are lit using kerosene.
