The one day that I spent in Helsinki before I left for India was a memorable day. By this time my fellowship was over and I was no longer being hosted by the rotary. But I stayed with Pirkko Jokela who was a cousin of my Rovaniemi host Veli-matti. I had met her in Rovaniemi and she had invited me to stay with her when I went to Helsinki. She took me sightseeing to a lot of places and also hosted lunch at Namaskar, the only Indian restaurant in Helsinki.
