| Marine Drive is also known as Shanmugham Road. Marine Drive is one of the most beautiful parts of the city. Marine Drive is facing the backwaters of Ernakulam. The Marine walk is the main hang out of the local community of Ernakulam. The view of the backwaters from here is really excellent. The GCDA complex is the main Shopping Centre available at Marine Drive. The Pioneer tower has some large watch & clock showrooms. The Taj Residency and Sealord are good hotels in the Marine Drive area. Bimbis, South Star and Four Foods with Kerala Specialty Restaurant are the good food centers at Marine Drive. Caravan ice cream parlor is a children and youth favorite center. |
