| The holy patriot of Anthiod, Mar Ignatius Elias III, while on a visit to India, died at this place in 1932. His mortal remains are preserved at the manjanikara church. Now the manjanikara place is developed into a major pilgrim centre in Kerala. The annual Festival, in malayalam - ormaperunnal, is held in february, every year. |
