Kulathupuzha is famous for the Sastha temple. The Sastha temple is situated on a forest range on the Thiruvananthapuram - Shenkottai road, Kulathupuzha. The Vishu Mahotsavam is the most important festival in Kulathupuzha. It is celebrated in the month April or May, every year.
