| Idukki Arch Dam is constructed across two hills - Kuravan and Kurathi hills. The idukki dam is the world's second and Asia's first arch dam. The arch dam is about 550ft. high and 650ft. wide. The idukki dam lies close to the Cheruthoni barrage. In the west of idukki dam, there lies the Kulamaw Dam. Idukki wildlife Sanctuary is located close by. |
