| The Eravikulam National park is located near to the Munnar Town. The Eravikulam National park sanctuary provides the sight seeing of the rare Nilgiri species. The flowering of the Neelakurinji in the forests and grasslands is a marvelous sight. The Neelakurinji flower blooms only once in 12 years. The next Neelakurinji bloom is expected in 2018 AD only. There are also animal watchings in the Eravikulam national park. We can view the Panther, Sambhar, Giant Malabar Squirrel, Barking Deer, Gaur, new birds, etc in the Eravikulam national park sanctuary. |
